Development and growth within Moba
Tim started by learning the ropes and familiarizing himself with systems and processes, after which he was given more and more tasks and responsibilities and took over various activities from colleagues. In addition to his operational tasks, Tim was challenged with improvement projects. "One of the first improvement projects was establishing KPIs for delivery reliability. Another major project was improving the order processing system. It's great to see the results and use them to make new plans for further improvement."
Moba has supported Tim in his development from the very beginning. "The development path was clear from the outset: from operational to tactical purchaser. There are plenty of opportunities to seize, and there is room to do so. I can ask my colleagues anything, and they offer the support I need to get things done. The collaboration with my manager also plays an important role in this. He takes the time to give me the challenges, support, and feedback I need. So, in addition to the machine, Moba also pays sufficient attention to the person."
Challenges and ambitions
One of the biggest challenges for Tim was finding the right balance between operational tasks and improvement projects. "For Moba, operations always take priority, so when the pressure increases, it's important to keep an eye on the long term and have the space to work on that too. It's a matter of recording and planning things and finding the right balance yourself."
Tim sees himself developing further within Moba. "I want to master the tactical role and achieve new goals. It helps that I now know many people and systems within the company. In this role, I want to ensure that performance improves. The role is fairly new within Moba, but there are experienced colleagues who support me."

That makes it a really fun environment where you can take on a lot. The team is young and diverse, and we work together to achieve success. Moba is on the rise and is also a very interesting company. The world population is growing, and more and more eggs are being eaten. It's a challenge to figure out how you can contribute to that as a company, now and in the future. That also presents an important challenge for purchasing. It's great to be part of that."
