Room for development
After starting as a trainee, Kolinda began as a Software Engineer and was soon given the opportunity to co-develop a completely new machine line. "I really wanted to experience the full lead time," she says enthusiastically. "For the first three years I was in a coordinating role, which meant working closely with service engineers. I was involved in everything from programming to taking care of technical issues."
When the Product Owner left her team, the choice was quickly made: Kolinda took over the role. She has since been managing her own projects for three years. "It's great to be both strategic and support internal customers. Prioritizing tasks is sometimes a challenge, but that's exactly what makes my job so interesting."
One of the things Kolinda appreciates about Moba is the freedom to develop herself. "I was given all the space I needed" she explains. "And that support has helped me grow enormously in my role as Product Owner." In addition to her work, she stays creative. "I still paint, draw and knit, and that helps me find a good balance between work and relaxation," she explains with a laugh.
Challenges that connect
As in any career, there were challenges. Kolinda recalls an incident at a customer where she and a service engineer had to solve a problem under high pressure. "We asked the customer to take a break for lunch, so we could continue working quietly," she says. "In the end, we solved the problem and that was enormously satisfying."
She still experiences that same team spirit every day. "At Moba we work intensively together, and that really reinforces the feeling that you are not alone. Everyone has a passion for technology, and that's contagious."
Why Moba?
When you ask Kolinda why Moba is a great employer, she is clear: "Here we still make everything ourselves. That's unique. It offers a lot of variety, and the atmosphere is great. The flexibility to work from home, for example, is nice, but also the short lines of communication within the company make working here special."
For people considering applying for a job at Moba, she has a clear message: "Do it! Here you work on long projects of a few years, with clear standards. It's not a startup, but that's what makes it interesting. It's a high-tech company where you can really make a difference."
