Shipping Coordinator and Security Manager
At Moba, Jolinda was given the opportunity to grow. In addition to her role in Shipping, she was trained as a Security Manager, a position in which she faces many new challenges. The international nature of Moba plays a major role in this. "There is a much higher volume of goods here, and we do business with even more countries. I had never even heard of some of them."
That versatility makes her work extra enjoyable. "I just really enjoy Shipping; it's a very dynamic field. No two days or shipments are the same."
A job full of challenges
The examples she gives show just how challenging the work is. Recently, air freight had to be arranged to Venezuela. Not easy, but that's exactly what Jolinda finds interesting: "Together with the customer, we looked for ways to get our system to them. It's great fun to find solutions like that."
In her place, now and later
For now, Jolinda is completely at home. She enjoys the variety, the responsibility, and the team around her. And the fact that the balance between work and private life is so good. "It's only a ten-minute bike ride. It's a real luxury to work so close to home," she explains.
She is also happy with the working hours: "Here, you have the flexibility to start when you want."
