Your role

Would you like to lead the development of complex high-tech systems as a technical leader? For our R&D organization, we’re looking for a Systems Designer who can translate system architecture into robust, future-proof solutions. Do you have experience as a systems designer, systems architect, or in a similar role, or are you a motivated junior professional? If so, we’d love to meet you.

For nearly 80 years, Moba has been developing comprehensive solutions for sorting, packaging, and processing eggs. Our systems are in operation in 111 countries and process more than one billion eggs every day. Design, development, production, installation, and service are all handled at our facility in Barneveld. This allows you to work closely with the technology and see your solutions in operation around the world.

As a Systems Designer, you provide technical guidance for the long-term development of our product platforms. You define system specifications, architectures, and solution concepts, and ensure that products meet the desired quality standards throughout the entire development cycle. Based on functional and non-functional requirements, technological research, and integration criteria, you design solutions that integrate with existing applications, systems, products, and platforms. In doing so, you collaborate closely with specialists from various disciplines on complex and varied engineering challenges.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

Technical Leadership in R&D

· Serve as technical lead within multidisciplinary R&D project teams;
· Bridge R&D disciplines and strengthen an engineering culture centered on customer value, craftsmanship, and innovation;
· Strengthen Moba’s product leadership with distinctive system architectures, designs, and technical solutions;
· Coach less experienced team members in defining system requirements and designing architectures.

Developing Robust Solutions

· Define, implement, and monitor the system architecture for product platforms;
· Determine functional and non-functional system requirements based on: user needs and business requirements, existing architectures, standards, and practices within Moba, and input from internal stakeholders, such as Project Engineering and Service, to ensure that customer solutions are easy to install and maintain;
· Translate technological developments, product lifecycle engineering, and future solutions in the industry into opportunities for our platforms.
