Your role
We are looking for a Supply Chain Engineer! In your position, you will play a crucial role in new product introductions, process optimizations, and changes to Moba's standard product. You will be the driving force behind smooth operations in the Supply Chain. Do you have experience in this area? If so, we would like to invite you for an introductory meeting!
For almost 80 years, Moba has been making total solutions for sorting, packing, and processing eggs that are sold all over the world. Over the years, Moba has grown into a global market leader with systems in 111 different countries, processing more than 1 billion eggs every day. From design, development, production, and installation to service, it all happens in Barneveld. You will be working in the Supply Chain Management department, where you will be part of the Supply Chain Engineering team.
Due to an improving market, we need a problem solver and connector. Someone who can maintain an overview and proactively work on process optimizations, new product introductions, and changes. This will allow you to make an impact on our organization and further build on Moba's success! It goes without saying that you are analytically strong, results-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. You will be working in the Supply Chain Management department, where you will be part of the Supply Chain Engineering team.
Your role will include the following tasks:
• Processing and managing data resulting from new product introductions and changes in the ERP system;
• Supervising/implementing product changes in the supply chain organization, seeking the optimum balance between timely availability, costs, and possible investments such as inventory;
• Supervising the phasing in and out of inventory items;
• Keeping the logistics settings in the item database up to date;
• Carrying out/participating in supply chain improvement projects;

What we ask of you
- HBO working and thinking level in the field of technology and logistics;
- At least 5 years of work experience in a similar position, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment/mechanical engineering;
- Knowledge of ERP systems and business processes;
- Experience with Infor LN (ERP) is an advantage;
- Excellent skills in Dutch and English.
