From design, development, production, and installation to service, it all happens in Barneveld.
As a Senior Hardware PCB Engineer, you’ll play a key role within this multidisciplinary team. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining PCBs for our machine control systems and will help shape the PCB architecture for the medium term.
Not only will you be working on today’s solutions, but you’ll also help shape the future of our hardware and PCB architecture over the coming years. You’ll work on products that are actually used in our machines and see your designs incorporated into systems used worldwide. You’ll collaborate with colleagues from various technical disciplines, which means you’ll tackle challenging and diverse problems.
A selection of our key activities:
• Developing and maintaining PCBs for machine control systems.
• Designing modular and configurable hardware solutions.
• Translating technical and functional specifications into high-quality electrical designs.
• Developing and further expanding our PCB architecture.
• Developing a vision, strategy, and roadmap for future PCB developments.
• Conducting verification and validation through simulations, testing, and technical reviews.
• Analyzing test results and implementing design improvements.
• Creating and maintaining technical product documentation, bills of materials, and revisions.
• Identifying and implementing improvements within our R&D processes.
• Promoting standardization and reuse of hardware solutions.
• Sharing your knowledge and experience within the team and contributing to the further professionalization of hardware engineering.

What we ask of you
- HBO-level education and thinking skills, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field;
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position;
- Demonstrable and recent experience with PCB architecture and PCB development;
- Experience with PCB design and hardware development, particularly FPGAs and EMC testing;
- Strong knowledge of and recent experience with Altium and VHDL;
- Knowledge of Total Parts Plus and/or an ECAD package such as EPLAN is a plus;
- Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines is a plus;
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
