Will you be our new colleague?
Your role
We are looking for a service desk engineer for our IT department. In addition to working on the help desk, you’ll also contribute to various projects. You’ll be part of our IT Service Desk team—a hardworking but, above all, friendly group that handles a wide variety of issues from across the organization. Interested in this role? We’d love to invite you for an introductory meeting!
For nearly 80 years, Moba has been creating comprehensive solutions for sorting, packaging, and processing eggs sold all over the world. Over the years, Moba has grown into a global market leader with systems in 111 different countries, processing more than 1 billion eggs every day. From design, development, production, and installation to service, it all happens in Barneveld. As a company, Moba is taking significant steps toward the cloud; for example, we are currently busy with the implementation and rollout of M365. As part of the team, you’ll tackle the hardware and software challenges and issues facing our organization.
Not only will you provide direct support to colleagues at the help desk, but you’ll also handle calls through our TOPdesk ticketing system. We’re looking for someone who thrives on getting complex applications up and running and resolving incidents. As we transition to Microsoft 365 and professionalize our IT processes, we’re seeking someone who preferably has knowledge of Microsoft 365, is eager to further develop their expertise in this area, and can help us take our service desk to an even higher level.
Your responsibilities will include, among other things, the following tasks:
• Helping to improve and professionalize our help desk and related IT processes;
• Participating in IT projects;
• Providing first- and second-line support to Moba employees;
• Answering technical questions by phone regarding hardware, software, and landline and mobile telephony;
• Resolving technical issues, working with our system network engineers as needed;
• Writing IT manuals, work instructions, and knowledge base articles;
• Setting up workstations (installing hardware, phones, and running cables);
• Performing administrative tasks (e.g., registering hardware and licenses);
• Providing support to internal Moba colleagues regarding their workplace applications.
This versatile role offers plenty of opportunities to further develop your skills in Microsoft Azure and all its components. Moba provides ample opportunities to take training programs and courses to further your professional development.
