We are looking for an International Field Service Engineer for our Service department. This is an international position, which involves spending a lot of time with our customers abroad (approximately 70-80%). For almost 80 years, Moba has been creating total solutions for sorting, packing, and processing eggs that are sold all over the world. Over the years, Moba has grown into a global market leader with systems in 111 different countries, processing more than 1 billion eggs every day. From design, development, production, and installation to service, it all happens in Barneveld.
As an International Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing machines, maintaining existing machines, and troubleshooting malfunctions at customer sites in the Netherlands, Europe, and worldwide! You will spend a significant amount of time at our customers' sites, approximately 70% of your working hours. During these projects, you will have frequent contact with the service team in Barneveld. When you are not on site at customer locations, you will work from home or at our office in Barneveld (depending on where you live). What kind of work can you expect to do?
Installation and/or modification of machines:
• (Instructing) loading and unloading machines and checking deliveries for damage and completeness;
• Installing, maintaining, and relocating new and used machines at customer sites worldwide;
• Building or modifying a complete (or part of a) machine at the customer's site using mechanical, electrical, and electronic tools;
• Assisting the customer with the start-up of the production line.
Repair, inspection, and service:
• Repairing and resolving malfunctions or problems with machines;
• Performing preventive maintenance;
• Overhauling machines or machine parts;
• Performing weekly services.

What we ask of you
- Vocational or higher professional education in Electrical Engineering and/or Mechatronics;
- Several years of work experience in a similar position (have you just completed your education but don't have any experience yet? We would be happy to see if we can help each other!);
- Knowledge, experience, and/or affinity with mechanical engineering and control technology is an advantage;
- Good command of the English language; a second language is an advantage.
