To strengthen our team, we are looking for an interim project manager (this position may also be filled on a project-based secondment basis). For nearly 80 years, Moba has been creating comprehensive solutions for sorting, packing, and processing eggs that are used worldwide. Moba systems are used daily in 111 countries, processing over 1 billion eggs. From design, development, and production to installation and service: everything comes together in Barneveld.
At Moba, the focus is increasingly shifting toward software and cloud-based solutions as an integral part of our systems. In this interim role, you will be working in our R&D department and will be responsible for multidisciplinary software and system development projects, with a strong emphasis on digitalization.
You will oversee projects from conception through implementation and ongoing development. You will work closely with colleagues in R&D, software engineering, product management, and other disciplines. You will play a key role in executing our digital roadmap and successfully launching new (cloud) solutions.
As an interim project manager, you will lead the project team on a daily basis, ensure progress and quality, and maintain effective alignment with stakeholders. You are comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization and are not afraid to escalate issues when necessary.
Your duties and responsibilities:
• Executing software and (cloud) development projects
• Achieving project objectives within a matrix organization
• Ensuring alignment between project results and business objectives
• Comprehensive project ownership: identifying and mitigating risks and issues
• Encouraging transparent communication and collaboration among stakeholders
• Reporting progress to the PMO Manager and the management team
• Ensuring processes and working methods (including NPDL) are aligned with software development

What we ask of you
- You are available as an interim professional or on a project-based assignment;
- You are available for at least 24 hours per week;
- You can commit to an expected period of 12 to 24 months;
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in a technical or IT/software-related field, supplemented by extensive project management experience;
- Proven experience in software development, cloud-based applications, and/or digital platforms;
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a high-tech or software environment;
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in complex organizations;
- Experience with Agile/SAFe or hybrid project methodologies is a plus;
- Basic knowledge of finance and business cases;
- Excellent communication skills and a results-oriented, structured approach to work.
