Your role
We are looking for an experienced (mid-level) front-end developer for our R&D department! Do you have a creative mindset, an eye for quality, and experience with front-end (back-end is a plus) web development? Are you also proficient in one or more modern frameworks such as Svelte and Node.js? If so, we’d love to invite you for an introductory meeting!
For almost 80 years, Moba has been creating total solutions for sorting, packing, and processing eggs that are sold all over the world. Over the years, Moba has grown into a global market leader with systems in 111 different countries, processing more than 1 billion eggs every day. From design, development, production, and installation to service, it all happens in Barneveld.
As a mid-level front-end developer, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and technical decision-making regarding our user interfaces, both within your team and across the department. You’ll work alongside more than 110 R&D colleagues, including 35 software engineers, in a multidisciplinary team. Together, you’ll work on developing and maintaining the control systems for our advanced machines. As a mid-level developer, you’ll also contribute to our architecture and the future direction of our front-end development.
What kind of work can you think of specifically?
• Create visualizations of what is happening on the machine
• Expand user controls and the interface between the UI and the backend
• Define the front-end architecture and direction for new machines

Every three weeks, the R&D department organizes a knowledge session led by one of the colleagues, providing time for new insights, discussing improvements, or presenting a new concept to get everyone on board.
What we ask of you
- HBO (higher professional education) level of work and thinking in a technical field such as Software Engineering or Application Developer;
- Several years of professional experience with the following languages: JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, HTML, CSS;
- Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Svelte and Aurelia;
- Experience in designing architectures for new user interfaces for machine control is a plus;
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus;
- Experience with: Vite, Testing Library & Cypress, Node.js, Git, Linux, or Docker is a plus.
