As a Spare Parts Coordinator, you are responsible for spare parts requests within your region. You serve as the point of contact for customers, service technicians, and internal departments, and ensure that requests are processed quickly, accurately, and completely. In doing so, you look beyond the order itself. You delve into the reason behind the request, review technical, logistical, and commercial aspects, and ensure that customers receive the correct parts.

To make this possible, you’ll work closely with colleagues from departments such as Purchasing, Logistics, Planning, Service, Sales, and Engineering. You’ll monitor progress, maintain an overview, and take the lead when action is needed.

In addition, you’ll play an active role in improving our processes. You’ll identify recurring bottlenecks, analyze their causes, and contribute ideas for structural improvements in the areas of availability, turnaround times, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.

Here are some of your key responsibilities:

• Advising customers and processing spare parts requests.
• Coordinating and monitoring orders from request to delivery.
• Identifying parts based on technical documentation.
• Liaising with internal departments regarding availability, lead times, and solutions.
• Identifying and resolving deviations within the process.
• Initiating improvements within spare parts processes and service delivery.
• Ensuring the proper handling of returns and warranty claims.
