We are looking to expand our sales department with a Head of Sales EMEA! A new and challenging position where you will be responsible for our ambitions in these regions and the further development and implementation of our commercial strategy and key account plans. THE JOB

Moba is world leader in innovative machines for grading, packing and processing eggs. As our Head of Sales EMEA your goal is to ensure our market and industry leading position for the long-term by delivering the most optimal total solution for our customers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter that can bring structure, fresh ideas and achieve optimal sales results by further professionalizing our sales team. You will have a team of 4 area sales manager, various agents and a couple of regions to manage yourself. We are specifically looking for a hands-on candidate who is still actively involved in sales and has experience with capital goods and cross/consultative selling. This position can be summed up further with the following result areas:

Leadership

  • Leading the EMEA sales team by implementing best-in class sales practices and guidelines that assure excellence, customer satisfaction and business value creation;
  • Translating companywide commercial strategy and ambition to an effective strategy for EMEA;
  • Building accountability in the sales organization through transparent, on time and accurate reporting on key performance indicators (sales pipeline development, revenue, margin, market share etc.) in line with company reporting standards;
  • Leading, coaching, developing and appraising people to help them reach their potential;
  • Delivering results and contributing to our success by leading by example, being resourceful and innovative, pursuing long-term sales ambitions based on market trends and company needs. Be that integral part of your team in the way it delivers results!

Sales and sales network development

  • Actively participating in and leading forecast and funnel meetings with your team;
  • Staying in touch with customers throughout the life cycle of solutions and regularly discuss customer satisfaction, customer business performance and development, unaddressed customer needs, new order opportunities;
  • Preparing quotes and contract negotiations in such a way that you create an optimal customer experience with the most value for Moba;
  • Continuously matching sales teams with market development opportunities by maintaining, growing and optimizing existing (agent) network;
  • Managing sales agents and actively incorporate them in the overall Moba sales strategy;
  • Optimizing our sales infrastructures and processes, drawing up roadmaps, implementing enterprise improvement and operational excellence;
  • Working closely together with (regional) service teams and other relevant stakeholders within the company.

In this position you will report to our Chief Commercial Officer and are expected to travel up to 50% of your time.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

  • 7+ years of experience in a senior sales position;
  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, economics or business administration; 
  • You lead by example and promote entrepreneurship and accountability;
  • You have a proven track record in the capital goods market or similar; 
  • To lead and further develop a winning EMEA Sales team and agent network with a strong focus on customer relations and (consultatively) selling new solutions;
  • You are able to spearhead strategic commercial changes in an international environment;
  • You have excellent command of the Dutch and English language in a technical and commercial setting.
