Your role
We are looking for a (mid-level/senior) Node Backend developer (Full-stack Developer) for our R&D department! Do you have 5+ years of work experience with Node/Javascript? Would you like to work in a technical environment where you can apply your knowledge of NodeJS and gain experience with Svelte? Do you have a creative mindset, an eye for quality, and experience with "Backend for Frontend" or application development? Then we would like to invite you for an introductory meeting!
For almost 80 years, Moba has been creating total solutions for sorting, packing, and processing eggs that are sold all over the world. Over the years, Moba has grown into a global market leader with systems in 111 different countries, processing more than 1 billion eggs every day. From design, development, production, and installation to service, it all happens in Barneveld.
You will be working in a multidisciplinary team where you will be fully involved in ongoing projects. What kind of work can you expect to do?
• Providing support in the development of front-end web applications;
• Working with your immediate colleague to take the lead in setting up our Backend for Frontend APIs;
• Optimizing applications for speed, cost, and scalability;
• Collaborating with architects and UX designers.

Every three weeks, the R&D department organizes a knowledge session led by one of the colleagues, providing time for new insights, discussing improvements, or presenting a new concept to get everyone on board.
What we ask of you
- HBO (higher professional education) level of work and thinking in a technical field such as Software Engineering or Application Developer;
- Experience with developing and integrating APIs such as REST, GraphQL, and OData;
- At least 5 years of work experience with the following languages: Node.JS, JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript;
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Svelte/Aurelia and/or Vite, Testing Library & Cypress, Node.js, GIT, Linux, and Docker is an advantage (but not a must).
- An affinity with machine control and industrial IoT is an advantage.
